Had one for lunch, with a glass of dry riesling as a nice accompaniment (and then I watched the Steelers parade online, courtesy of Channel 11). Moments ago, I had another for dessert, again with dry riesling. Alas, I haven't mastered the art of folding them elegantly -- but I have 10 more crepes to play with. I think I'll have one or two for breakfast tomorrow, sans wine (unless I decree brunch).jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17698320359361554668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6582692272669990668.post-1894658904213976632009-01-26T11:19:00.000-05:002009-01-26T11:19:00.000-05:00I first had buckwheat crepes in Montreal ages ago ...I first had buckwheat crepes in Montreal ages ago and I love them! I've wanted to make my own to save the $9 tab and now I plan on using this crepe batter as the base. Except I don't know if I want to go the buckwheat route. Should I just use whole wheat?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6582692272669990668.post-64704383194109489542009-01-24T17:49:00.000-05:002009-01-24T17:49:00.000-05:00Mmmmmm, these look really yummy!
